Yesterday, the 23rd of July, 2025, was a special day. The Yemi Oshe Foundation visited four towns in Ekiti State (Àare-Ekiti, Orun-Ekiti, Igbemo-Ekiti and Afao-Ekiti) to support 200 widows with palliatives.We gave out food items, clothes, and daily essentials to women who have lost their husbands—many of them struggling to survive alone. In June 2024, the Yemi Oshe Foundation extended a vital hand to vulnerable seniors across multiple communities in Ekiti State by distributing essential food palliatives. Each package included rice, garri, beans, palm oil, seasoning cubes, and toiletries—meeting both nutritional and hygienic needs. Targeting elderly residents who live alone or struggle with income, the outreach was executed in the communities of Eyio, Esure, and Irona. The  Yemi Oshe Foundation led heartfelt visits to both a children’s home and an elderly care facility in Ado-Ekiti. During each home visit, our team provided emotional support, shared meals, and offered gifts to show love and solidarity to residents. In April 2025, Y.O.F intervened to settle unpaid medical expenses for an indigent patient at Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH). The foundation covered the full bill and also provided funds to support the patient’s recovery and medication. Hospital staff noted how this gesture brings dignity and hope to vulnerable individuals. “More than medicine—it was a lifeline,” one nurse commented.
