The Yemi Oshe Foundation continued its mission of love and compassion by visiting three towns in Ekiti State — Eyio-Ekiti, Esure-Ekiti, and Araromi Obo-Ekiti — to distribute palliatives to 150 widows in need.
A Day of Relief and Gratitude
Each widow received a special care package containing food, daily essentials, and clothing — packed with love and prayers. For many of these women, this was the first time in months they were receiving direct support.
"Ẹ̀yin ni Ọlọ́run fi ranṣẹ́ sí wa lónìí,"
said a widow in Eyio-Ekiti.
“You are God’s messengers to us today.”
In Esure-Ekiti, one elderly woman held her gift close and whispered,
“Mo ti fi gbogbo ireti sí Ọlọ́run — ó dájú pé ó gbọ́ àdúrà mi.”
“I had placed all my hope in God — now I see He heard my prayer.”
At Araromi Obo-Ekiti, a younger widow said,
“Ẹran kì í tán l'ọ́jà kí ọrẹ má ra fún ẹ̀gbọ́n rẹ.”
“Food may finish in the market, but not in the hands of a friend.”
Her way of thanking the Foundation for remembering them.
Standing With Widows
Many widows feel forgotten. Some live without steady income, caring for children or grandchildren with no support. That’s why the Yemi Oshe Foundation created the Widow Support Program — to bring hope, help, and healing to women who have lost everything.
Our work is powered by love, prayers, and generous donations from people like you.
There are many widows still waiting.
Many who go to bed hungry.
Many who cry in silence, hoping someone will remember them.
👉 You can be that someone today.
