Yemi Oshe Foundation has rolled out food relief packages to support Muslim faithful during the holy month of Ramadan, as part of its continued commitment to humanitarian service and community support.
In a statement released by the Foundation on Friday, March 13, 2026, the initiative was described as a deliberate effort to assist Muslim families with essential food items, easing the burden of fasting and ensuring that vulnerable members of the community can observe the sacred period with dignity and comfort.
The food distribution exercise took place at the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at Adebayo Mosque and Adebayo Community Mosque, both located in Ado Ekiti, where prayers were also offered.
According to the Foundation, Ramadan is a time of sacrifice, compassion and generosity, emphasizing the importance of supporting one another, especially those in need.
The distribution of the food packages forms part of the Foundation’s broader mission to promote unity, kindness and social welfare across communities.
Speaking on the initiative, the leadership of the Foundation, Opeyemi Bamidele Omotoyinbo, encouraged well-meaning individuals and organizations to remember the less privileged during the holy month by extending acts of charity and goodwill.
Beneficiaries of the gesture expressed appreciation to the Foundation for the timely support, noting that the food packages would go a long way in assisting their families throughout the fasting period.
The Foundation reaffirmed its dedication to humanitarian outreach and promised to continue implementing programs that provide relief and empowerment to people across different religious and social backgrounds.
The statement concluded with prayers for peace, blessings, and prosperity for all Muslim faithful observing the holy month of Ramadan.
