The YEMI OSHE FOUNDATION has announced the commencement of a major empowerment initiative aimed at supporting 100 residents of Ekiti State who possess vocational skills but lack the necessary tools and equipment to establish their businesses.
The founder of the foundation, Mr. Opeyemi Bamidele Omotoyinbo, revealed that the empowerment scheme is part of the foundation’s continuous effort to improve livelihoods and promote self-reliance among the people of Ekiti State.
According to him, the program is specifically designed for individuals who have already acquired vocational training such as tailoring, hairdressing, barbing, catering, welding, carpentry, and other handwork but are unable to start their businesses due to lack of start-up equipment.
Mr. Omotoyinbo stated that beneficiaries will be selected through a transparent screening process to ensure that only qualified and committed applicants benefit from the program.
All interested applicants having obtain their empowerment forms from the YEMI OSHE FOUNDATION office and complete the required registration procedures within the stipulated time.
We will now commence our screening process and proper verification of what you claim to do or have learnt which will lead us to the shortlisted candidates for the exercise
He emphasized that the initiative reflects the core mission of the foundation, which is impacting lives positively and bringing hope to the less privileged.
The empowerment scheme is expected to further strengthen small-scale entrepreneurship across Ekiti communities and create opportunities for economic growth among young people and skilled artisans.
